Bible school

« Access to the Bible » is what adults find who meet once a week to attend the courses of the « Bibelschule am Dom ».

The cathedral dean offers possibilities to understand biblical texts by talking about literature, history of religion, culture and art. For instance « History of the religion of old Egypt – and its influence on biblical texts. »

These courses are completed by the program « Studies and trips of the cathedral » In a lively way these journeys to the countries of the Bible do not only give an idea of what biblical texts mean, but offer a completely new view of religious and cultural present. These journeys are principally open for any interested person, independent of the participation in the Bibelschule.

The courses are held weekly and last 1 hour (group 1 on Wednesday at 6 p.m, group 2 on Thursday at 6 p.m., and as well on Saturday after the prayer with organ music at noon on individual invitation for the preparation of the journeys)
